JOB SUMMARY:

The Electrician must be able to install troubleshoot diagnose repair and maintain electrical and electronic components on various production machinery and equipment as well as electrical infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures including lockout tag out GMP HACCP and Allergen.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ensure tools and equipment is in good working order; report any defective materials missing or damaged tools to the supervisor.
• Perform duties as assigned. Some ongoing duties include those listed below but are not inclusive to this position:

Electrical Support Troubleshooting Repair

• Perform electrical tasks including but not limited to running new wire bending conduit installing switches and other components running electronic tests cleaning contacts or circuit boards replacing worn components oiling motors.
• Assemble install inspect test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes.
• Inspect and test electrical systems to identify hazard using testing devices such as ohmmeters voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production; diagnose malfunctioning systems locate the cause of the breakdown and repair.
• Respond timely to any electrical breakdown
• Locate source of problem by observation testing talking with operator o Remove defective parts using power tools and other equipment o Repair to prevent reoccurrence
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
