Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Summary:

MOR PPM, Inc. seeks an HVAC Technician for our project located in Culpepper, VA. The pay rate for his position is between $28.00 - $34.00 /hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Successful Candidate will be capable of maintaining all HVAC associated equipment in a large Manufacturing facility
• Position requires CEC certification for handling refrigerants.
• Perform maintenance and repair of Facility HVAC equipment including air handlers, air conditioners, electric and gas heating units, mist collectors and chillers.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility HVAC equipment including air handlers, air conditioners, electric and gas heating units.
• Install new HVAC equipment
• Perform Plumbing maintenance and repairs on piping associated with HVAC units.
• Skills to troubleshoot HVAC both state of the art HVAC equipment and earlier models of Industrial HVAC equipment.
• Will serve as "on-call" engineer for all HVAC related repairs and maintenance.

Experience

• You must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the industrial HVAC field

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required. Fire resistant (FR's are required), clean shaven for respirator fit required.
