Responsibilities
  • Will perform Material Handler functions as needed in accordance with required work instructions, such as forklift license and use of Warehouse scanners.
  • Required to learn all duties in the Warehouse including receiving product from the trailers, and pulling shipments.
  • Able to perform system transactions.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work in different areas and on different tasks
  • Able to safely operate a picker and a forklift
  • Able to stand and walk for entire shift, without the need to sit down
  • Comply with all the safety, quality, and procedure requirements.
  • Will use RF scanner for transactions.
  • Will train in picking orders in Warehouse with accuracy being a priority.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications

  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Measurement/mathematical skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to use electronic information.
  • Ability to work independently or on a team
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Years of Experience
Minimum of 6 months related work experience
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe shoes/boots, ear and eye protection.
