Job Description
The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the effectiveness of the company’s sustainability practices are aligned with industry best practices and the company’s business goals.

Essential Job Functions
  • Working knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO50001 system & processes required for certification and maintenance of certification.
  • Collect, analyze, and draw conclusions from environmental data and take an active role in the creation and follow-up of sustainability targets and performance measurements.
  • Drive continuous sustainability improvement initiatives based on data quality and results versus targets across the business.
  • Lead the analysis of potential ESG related risks and in ESG risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with multiple areas and support the organization with data analyses and insights to meeting sustainability targets and qualification/maintaining of ISO14001.
  • Monitor development of GHG reporting frameworks, regulations, and practices to make sure that our business complies with current and future legally required sustainability reporting standards in line with stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify and work with planning key drivers for long term sustainability and education across our business.

Requirements
  • Please note: This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as such, applicants must be a U.S. person defined as a citizen, national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
  • Minimum 3 years in similar position
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Ideally located within commuting distance of our facility in Culpeper, Virginia.
  • Some overnight travel to customers and vendors will be required.
