What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage the continuous caster operations, optimizing productivity and ensuring seamless production processes
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of casting equipment, minimizing downtime and disruptions
  • Coordinate with melting area and other departments to minimize downtime and breakdowns to maximize production of quality products
  • Identify opportunities, collaborate and implement changes to improve manufacturing processes and reduce cost
  • Maintain CMC's quality standards, while utilizing all necessary safety measures, plant equipment, and other tools
  • Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standards
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a steel manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of continuous casting processes and equipment
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills and leadership skills including the ability to interact with personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and understand business imperatives
  • Strong communication Skills (verbal, written, listening) including ability to communicate effectively with all levels or organization
  • Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
Your Education
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
