Job Description

ANALYGENCE has an opportunity for a remote DevSecOps Engineer. The DevSecOps Engineer is a platform team developer who develops and manages the CI/CD pipelines of a wide variety of applications. In this role you are "disconnected" from the product teams and considered a "generalist" on CI/CD pipeline and security requirements with strong knowledge of the platform as a whole. We are seeking a team member with a passion for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large Platform One enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications.

  • Responsible in providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools.
  • Will oversee developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications in Kubernetes.
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Oversee the organizations security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with the help of developers.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify and address potential risks in application design and deployment.
  • Ensuring the continuous monitoring and improvement of security controls within the organization's software development cycle.
  • Requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain Secret security clearance; active security clearance preferred.
  • BS in Computer Science, Math, or similar degree.
  • 7 years of experience as a major contributor in a DevSecOps environment developing and managing the CI/CD pipelines of a wide variety of applications using automation techniques and tools to include: Bash/Shell Scripting, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines with using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experienced in developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications.
  • Working knowledge of Software Build process.
  • Strong "security first" mindset.
  • Recent experience completing high-visibility DevSecOps projects for DoD preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
