Responsibilities
    Engage with the System Program Office (SPO) in a technical capacity for planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of satellite system development and acquisition studies that advance the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) space resiliency posture.
  • Collaborate with a team of high-performing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Operations Research Analysts, and software developers that directly support the Government through lifecycle systems engineering and management processes to deliver critical space resiliency capabilities.
  • Organize and lead efforts across multiple simultaneous studies.
  • Support system Configuration Management process including Engineering Change Proposal, Engineering Review Board/Configuration Control Boards (ECP, ERB/CCB)
  • Ensure requirements that evolve through the change management process remain true to the overall government needs.
  • Support risk management processes and methods for identifying, assessing, and adjudicating program risk; Conduct analysis to identify program risk areas and recommend/implement mitigation approaches.
  • Develop documents and briefings to communicate work status, briefs to government and industry as required.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years of professional development experience or master's degree in engineering with 8+ years of professional development experience
  • Significant background in systems engineering
  • Understanding of satellite systems, subsystems, and program acquisition
  • Able to work collaboratively across disciplines in a fast paced, dynamic, and small team environment.
  • Strong organization and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required. US Citizenship required.

Desired

  • Master's degree in systems engineering
  • NRO systems engineering experience is highly desired.

Target salary range: $112,000 - $199,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
