Overview

R&P is looking for a senior professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Logistician ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of PMS 300/325 - a Navy Ship Building Program.

Responsibilities
    Assist in the planning, execution, integration and oversight of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and projects
  • Provide ILS expertise to assist in developing innovative process improvements and solutions
  • Provide expertise in commercial ship, US Navy ship, and FMS requirements pertaining to ship supportability issues including life cycle support as they relate to DoD acquisition policies and procedures and other applicable statutory or regulatory requirements
  • Provide logistics, technical, and in-depth operational knowledge in MSC policies and procedures as well as FMS policies and procedures
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) rules, Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) issues or other regulatory body requirements as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or business management disciplines; Master's preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • 15+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management; Prefer 20+ years program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience communicating logistics concepts to SES/Flag level personnel
  • Preferred experience: experience with Navy procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Military Sealift Command (MSC) ILS procedures and processes; Foreign Military Sales

Salary
