The Legal Support Assistant provides administrative support to the assigned attorneys, paralegals, and secretaries within the Litigation Practice Group. This position functions as a liaison between attorneys and clients to provide services at a cost savings to the client. The Legal Support Assistant works under direct supervision and relies on instruction and pre-existing guidelines to perform the essential functions of the job.

As a Legal Support Assistant you will:

  • Coordinate meeting logistics including scheduling attendees, videoconferences, and conference rooms requesting equipment, preparing presentation materials, arranging refreshments, and welcoming visitors
  • Coordinate travel arrangements including hotel, flight, and transportation services
  • Create Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations including graphics and transitions
  • Input, review, edit, and update attorney time entries in Intapp
  • Edit, proofread, and redline documents and correspondence for accuracy, grammar, and formatting
  • Prepare documents and emails for attorney review, including letters, forms, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Proofread documents and emails for accuracy
  • Create, organize, and maintain electronic files via the Firm's cloud systems and in accordance with Firm records retention policies

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and judgment skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
