Job Description **100% Onsite in Fort Meade, MD.**

Our government client is looking for a Monitoring Tools Engineer to join their team.

Applicant must possess anActive TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000/year

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining salary.

Responsibilities of the Monitoring Tools Engineer:
  • Install and configure Monitoring and Event Management Tools
  • Build and manage TQLs
  • Troubleshoot gateway communication issues
  • Create script, process, and URL monitors
  • Responsible for Integration with various 3rd party tools
  • Reconcile data inconsistences
  • Ensure availability of Monitoring Solution
Requirements of the Monitoring Tools Engineer:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of experience supporting Network, Application
  • At least 3 years of specific product experience with BMC TrueSight Operations Manager or BMC Helix Operations Management
  • Monitoring and management projects
  • Proficient in Perl, Java, or VB Scripting
  • Proficient in both Windows and Linux/Unix Operating Systems
  • Requires effective verbal and written communications skills to consult with management, business partners and vendors
