POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate Producer is responsible for cataloging, distributing, and managing digital assets for the CF Foundation and helping produce assigned photo projects. They ensure that digital assets, including images, videos, documents, and other media files, are easily accessible, properly labeled, and stored securely in the Foundation digital asset management system, and photo projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. This is a hybrid role based in Bethesda, MD, and requires 2-3 days per week in the Bethesda office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain a system for organizing digital assets, including images, videos, templates, and other media files.

  • Implement metadata standards and tagging systems to classify and describe digital assets accurately, ensuring search functionalities are effective for CF Foundation users.

  • Manage digital asset management systems, ensuring assets are stored securely and efficiently.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity and quality of digital assets.

  • Develop training materials and guide users on best practices for managing and using digital assets.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in digital asset management and evaluate new tools and solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Plan and organize photo sessions, including location scouting, scheduling, and coordinating logistics such as equipment and permits.

  • Partner with vendors on the execution of photography sessions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of assets.

  • Assist with editing photo and video projects, partnering with vendor or members of the creative team on the timely delivery of assets.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

  • Partner with Technology Services to manage the CF Foundation's consent forms.

  • Special projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, new media, or related field.

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience with digital asset management and photo production.

  • Experience with digital asset management systems, specifically Bynder.

  • Experience with graphic design and photo/video editing tools, such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Strong project management skills, specifically managing deadlines, logistics, and vendor contracting.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to the Design Manager. No direct reports.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature.

  • No heavy lifting required.

  • Limited travel to conferences and meetings, as necessary.
