Registered Nurse (RN) - Wilmington Cardiac Care Unit (WCCU)

Full Time - Day/Midnight (Hours: 7a-7p & 7p-7a

Weekends & Holidays as required by the department.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Care Unit (WCCU) at our Wilmington Hospital. WCCU is a 9 bed mixed cardiac specific inpatient and observation intermediate cardiac care area, which provides scheduled and emergency care/procedures on a 24 hour basis. The area is designed to accommodate 9 patients who need emergency cardiac care and testing. You will also cross train to our Cardiology Short Stay Unit (CSSU) at the Christiana Hospital, which is a 14 bed unit.

Requirements:

• At least one year of medical/surgical experience in an inpatient setting is required.
• Strongly prefer cardiac and/or step-down experience.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• BSN required or willing and able to obtain within 3 years from the date of hire
• Delaware RN Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
