The UMMC Midtown Campus Post-Acute Specialty Program (PASP) provides a family-oriented environment for patients requiring care beyond the acute phase.
PASP has a team of dedicated physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians, rehabilitation and respiratory therapists, dietitians, and other health care practitioners that provide individualized, around-the-clock patient care.
The team approach to patient care is multidisciplinary and collaborative, and ensures patients' and their families' goals are reached.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks
The Clinical Nurse I RN Nurse Graduate is a member of the health care team and renders nursing care to all patients within her/his assigned unit/area, assuring the nursing process is followed from admission through discharge. The CN-I collaborates with other members of the health team, delegates appropriately to support staff and directs care to assure the patient's care needs are met.
