Job Summary
B&A is looking for an Agile Project Manager to support our corporate office. As an Agile Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of software projects by applying agile principles and methodologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong background in Java development, DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and expertise as a Scrum Master.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
  • Manage project priorities, dependencies, and risks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Act as a Scrum Master, coaching and mentoring team members on agile best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Utilize Java development skills to provide technical guidance and support to development teams as needed.
  • Implement DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Leverage cloud technologies to optimize scalability, performance, and reliability of software applications.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Required Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java development and understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Security Clearance
  • Eligible to obtain a security clearance.
