Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to support the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) in Linthicum, Maryland. This position requires an active Secret security clearance and ability to report to customer site on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

    Generate Request to Initiate Purchases (RIPs) and Travel Authorization Requests (TARs), track through the approval process, and ensure timely purchase and delivery of goods and services.
  • Responsible to ensure procurements are accurate and processed within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) measurements.
  • Record accurate cost and funding data for RIPs and TARs.
  • Maintain logs and generate regular reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost savings for senior management.
  • Ensure that procurement activities adhere to customer and company standards and policies.
  • Work the vendors to obtain valid quotes.
  • Promptly resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchases.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Proven experience in government procurement or related role.
  • Self-starter and detail oriented with the ability to perform in face-paced environment managing multiple priority procurements at one time.
  • Proficiency in MS Office365 to include Excel.
  • Experience effectively communicating with Senior Leadership and Federal Acquisition Agency.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with FEDSIM for Request to Initiate Purchases (RIPs) and Travel Authorization Requests (TARs).
  • Experience using Jira software.
  • Experience with Excel Pivot Tables.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
