We're seeking a future team member in the role of SVP, Revenue Management to join our Revenue Management team. Location: New York, NY - Hybrid In Office

In this role you will be a member of the Chief Operating Office, within Treasury Services overseeing revenue optimization and accounts receivable functions for our global TS client portfolio. which. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, drive financial performance, and shape the success of our organization. The individual will partner with Sales, Finance and Operations to increase business value through the identification of pricing insights to support advanced outcomes.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation through strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of pricing and revenue data, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports to track revenue and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Develop and lead the execution of the pricing review processes to review and change or add pricing elements; Using competitive data, prepares recommendations, lists of affected customers and revenue estimates for new service codes or increased fees for market review and approval, and manages all required client communications.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Drive market intelligence for client base and developed insights on new business opportunities.
  • Identify various performance behaviors to generate metrics/KPIs and performance scorecards.
  • Created incentives structure for internal collaboration and supported revenue share economics and policy discussions.
  • Evaluate competitive landscape and benchmarking.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership on how to develop and execute capabilities to support business operations and strategic objectives.
  • Structured and performed strategic analyses to optimize firm profitability, maximize resource allocation, and drive value creation.
  • Proactively partner with the program initiatives and project managers who are the primary contacts for clients and groups within the Treasury Services Function.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provides guidance on complex pricing issues.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Advanced degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 10-12+ years of related revenue management or billing management experience required, experience with technology and/or the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Experience in working in large FS organization delivering analytical services and capabilities using data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills needed. Ability to produce professional presentation decks using MS PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong analytic and data background; ideal candidate will have Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx skills.
  • Excellent multi-tasker and working in Agile frameworks.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
