We're seeking a future team member in the role of Cyber Awareness Analyst (Thought Leadership & Technical Writing) to join our Cyber Awareness, Training, and Threat Simulation team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.

The Cyber Awareness, Training, and Threat Simulation Team delivers best-in-class cyber awareness initiatives and simulation exercises to facilitate internal training and to clients as required. This includes planning, executing and preparing reports for BNY Mellon's cyber simulation program and supporting other cyber awareness projects as required.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Developing cyber awareness presentations and thought leadership content that build knowledge and understanding about the cybersecurity landscape and risks; why these risks matter; and the security behaviors required to reduce those risks
  • Distilling complex ideas into written and visual assets across multiple formats
  • Analyzing current and emerging engagement channels and conducting reviews to ensure effectiveness and broad adoption
  • Supporting cyber security training initiatives and consulting on training offerings
  • Collaborating with the broader Cyber Awareness, Training and Threat Simulation team to drive a Security-Smart Culture that brings individuals at every level onboard to protect clients, employees and the firm

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology communications, or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in information security or related experience
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Intermediate design skills for creating presentations, awareness and training materials required
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensures the successful completion of each under tight deadlines
  • Experience working in the Microsoft SharePoint platform is a plus
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
