As a member of the research staff your duties and responsibilities would include:
- Working with graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and staff members on research projects
- Using and understanding a wide variety of molecular biology protocols
- Analyzing data
- Extracting DNA, RNA, and proteins from blood and tissue samples
- Working with research animals
- Quantifying and distributing DNA samples
- Maintaining equipment
- Performing general lab maintenance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in biology or related field required
- Experience working in a molecular biology lab, good problem solving skills, excellent organizational and communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team
- 2 year commitment to the position required
